03 – Create a CLAN file

Why do you need this?

Because if you save the CLAN file in the wrong place, or with the wrong extension, you will run into problems later, e.g. you will not be able to play the audio/video or you will be unable to open the CLAN file.

(00:46 min)

Create a CLAN file

  1. Open CLAN
  2. A command window will open. Close it, once you have checked the library is set to CLAN/lib.
  3. If necessary: Open a new file (File > New)
  4. Save the new CLAN file to the folder where you have placed the video/audio file.

Make sure the file has the extension: .cha

Done.
